Noctilucent clouds
Noctilucent clouds, as seen from Ballylintagh Road, Aghadowey. Such a beautiful sky. I watched it for a while, and only got around to making a picture when it was starting to fade.
End of the day
Clouds are illuminated by the setting sun over Aghadowey, Co Derry N.Ireland, after a dull and wet day. A welcome relief from the drab lack of colour since early morning.
Red Phone Box
This is one of the few working public red telephone boxes near home. It looked striking in the light today on my way past, so thought id capture a photo for posterity. I often wonder how long we will have these. I know I never use them, and its a shame because like anything public, use it or lose it!

Lovely bit of weather near home last night. Thunderstorm knocked out the power in the house!
Snow day
Snow finally arrived during last night, though it seems to be melting away as quickly as it came. Here’s one of the garden sparrows, eating buds on a tree branch.

light pollution
This isn’t the sunset, its the lights of Coleraine, viewed from out in Aghadowey. Really feels like the town is getting too close…
