Coleraine, N.Ireland 25/11/2016. Mist rises over the Cutts at Castleroe, as the sun begins to rise over the River Bann. Temperatures dropped to as much as -7 degrees overnight, causing widespread frost and fog.

Noctilucent clouds
Noctilucent clouds, as seen from Ballylintagh Road, Aghadowey. Such a beautiful sky. I watched it for a while, and only got around to making a picture when it was starting to fade.

Sorry… i’ve been horribly neglecting my blog here of late. Been mega busy shooting video rather than stills. Anyhoo, here’s Portrush East Strand looking just spectacular during showers today.

A shopkeeper pauses for a smoke amidst rubble, after a roof in New Row, Coleraine, blew off and crashed into a shop on the opposite side of the street. The area was cordoned off until engineers had a chance to assess the damage. Sever gales battered the area through the night, causing widespread disruption.
